Hartmann, Inc., one of the countrys oldest luggage and leather goods manufacturers, announced today that it will sponsor a party in celebration of the Country Music Awards on Sunday, November 5th, the day before the awards show. The event will be hosted by eminent country singers Kix Brooks, Sara Evans and Phil Vassar in conjunction with the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau. It is expected to be attended by both artists and industry executives who will each walk Hartmanns polka dot carpet, fashioned after its popular Luxe Collection. The Hartmann party will help celebrate the CMAs 40th anniversary and also welcome the awards show back to Nashville, after its turn in New York City last year. In the shows 40 year history, this is the first such party that has been thrown in honor of the CMAs, and the artists it represents, by a Tennessee business. As a Tennessee company we fully support the people and industries that work in our back yard, said David Herman, president of Hartmann. As a renowned American brand, on the brink of our 130th anniversary, we embrace todays country artists whose following is legendary and influence unprecedented. We are thrilled to sponsor this party and hope that everyone who attends has a great time. It is because of companies like Hartmann who see the value of working together that makes coming back to Nashville even better, said country music star Kix Brooks. We are grateful to Hartmann for its support of our industry and look forward to working together in the future. The Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau, the organization facilitating the event, presented the sponsorship opportunity to Hartmann. Hartmann and country music share not only a rich Tennessee heritage, both enjoy a strong and incredibly loyal following that is unmatched by in their respective industries, said Butch Spyridon, president of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau. We knew it was only a matter of time before the two got together. The party will be themed with Hartmann's signature polka dot Luxe Collection in its new apple and chocolate colors. Pieces from the collection will be incorporated into the party's decor and the traditional red carpet will be replaced with the ultra-stylish polka dots. In addition, Hartmann will send a customized Belting Leather coaster set and picture frame to each CMA nominee following the event. "We wanted this party to have a fun and celebratory mood and what better way to set the tone than with polka dots!" said Ken Hinman, vice president of sales, product design and marketing for Hartmann. "Of course polka dots are only part of what Hartmann does and we look forward to reintroducing our brand and products to the many talented artists and executives scheduled to attend this wonderful celebration."
