TeamStaff Awarded Navy SeaPort-e Prime Contract

Somerset, New Jersey - July 5, 2011 -- TeamStaff, Inc. (Nasdaq: TSTF), a leading logistics and healthcare services provider to the Federal Government, announced today that its subsidiary, TeamStaff Government Solutions, has received an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) prime contract award from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. This contract will allow TeamStaff to compete for prime Task Orders issued under SeaPort-e's Multiple Award Contract vehicle.

"This is a significant achievement for TeamStaff GS and allows us access to bid on approximately $5.3 billion dollars of services being procured per year via task orders issued under the SeaPort-e program" said Zach Parker, CEO and president of TeamStaff, Inc. This strategic win is a top priority ID/IQ for Navy work in our Logistics and Technical Services line of business."

The award includes a three-year base period and a five-year award term that will be contingent on periodic performance reviews. Under the program, task orders are assigned to one of seven regional zones of performance, and the subset of companies with valid contracts for that particular zone can compete for individual task orders within the relevant zones.

Looks like fireworks were exactly 1 day off. Can't find news, but obviously there is some based on the explosive 50% move today and the heavy volume. Any news?

This baby has been so quiet w/ no volume holding strong. Almost too quiet, It makes me wonder. With any kind of volume on the buy side we could retest the 52 wk high. Hello, "anybody out there"

I stumbled on this one by picking up on an uptrend a while back and had some doubt about it but things are looking up and like you I think I'm gonna stick around for awhile and watch this unfold. It is a very very low O/S and the float can't be very high and there has been some insider buying of late....anyways gltu....

I'm glad I got back in this beauty again. If history repeats it self, I'm pretty sure I bought this stock back in the late 90's and it took me for a ride from a $1 to $7. The strange thing is that the charts only go back to 2006. If I recall there was a reverse split in the past. Anyway, with the company projecting positive cash flow,5 yr up to 140 million contract and a regained compliance with th Nasdaq [above a $1 for 10 consecutive days]not to mention a new boss at the helm. Lets just say I feel good about where I'm at right now.

Nice gain today....

Me thinks this is going to make lots of steady gains.

I saw that....One of the reasons that I started looking into this issue. I liked what I saw and started buying. With the low low O/S on this one the float can't be very much. Any buying pressure and this explodes. glta

Notice that on 3/31/11, a director bought 50K shares of TSTF at $0.49. Then notice the contract they just received and see where the stock is. FYI, Mr. Black is an employee of Wynnefield Capital, the largest institutional holder of TSTF.

(Nasdaq: TSTF), a leading logistics and healthcare services provider to the Federal Government, primarily within the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, announced today that its primary operating subsidiary TeamStaff Government Solutions, Inc. “TeamStaff GS” has been awarded a single source Blanket Purchase Agreement (“BPA”) for the procurement of integrated medical support for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (“CMOP”) program. The tasks to be performed include pharmacy and pharmacy technician services in support of pharmacy production management. The maximum total value under this award is expected to be approximately $140,000,000 against the Company’s Federal Supply Schedule, Professional and Allied Healthcare Staffing Services GSA VA V797P-4348a and pursuant to site-specific task orders expected to be rendered by the VA.

A little volume and this one should see some good gain.
