SBA Communications Corporation Announces Extension of Exchange Offer for 9 3/4% Discount Notes Due 2011 BOCA RATON, Fla., June 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SBA Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:SBAC) ("SBA" or the "Company"), today announced the extension of the pending exchange offer for all $402,024,000 aggregate principal amount at maturity of the outstanding series of 9 3/4% Senior Discount Notes due 2011 (the "Notes") issued in December 2003. The co-issuer of the Notes is SBA Telecommunications, Inc. ("Telecommunications" and collectively with "SBA" referred to as the "Issuers"). The expiration date for the exchange offer has been extended from 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on June 4, 2004, to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on June 11, 2004. The complete terms of the exchange offer remain unchanged and are contained in the Issuers' Prospectus dated May 6, 2004 (the "Prospectus"). As of 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on June 4, 2004, the Issuers received tenders from holders of $401,024,000 in aggregate principal amount of the Notes.
