StatSure Announces Introduction of Company's Patented Barrel Format by Inverness Medical in U.S.

Diagnostic Corp. (OTC:SSUR) (BULLETIN BOARD: SSUR) is pleased to
announce that it's long awaited and highly acclaimed patented
barrel technology has finally been introduced to the U.S. by
Inverness Medical (AMEX:IMA). In a deal signed in September 2006,
Inverness became the exclusive distributor of StatSure's patented
format for the HIV test worldwide. StatSure has no costs associated
with the sale or manufacture of this product and receives payment
for each test sold by Inverness. StatSure intends to build on
Inverness recognition of the advantages of its unique and patented
format, through the introduction in its format of a number of other
infectious disease tests. The StatSure format is marketed by

Clearview COMPLETE HIV 1/2 is a rapid qualitative screening test
for the detection of antibodies to HIV-1 and HIV-2 in human whole
blood, serum and plasma. The test utilizes a single lateral flow
test strip which displays results through visual observation of a
control line (non-reactive result) and a test line (reactive
result) within 15 minutes. The test is the safest and easiest to
use blood test introduced to date and is manufactured for Inverness
under license from StatSure by Chembio Diagnostic Systems
(OTC:CEMI) (BULLETIN BOARD: CEMI) . The Clearview products have 15
minute times to detection and 24-month, room temperature shelf life
from date of manufacture. Competitive advantages include product
performance, safety, ease of use, shelf life, multiple sample
types, and minimal sample size requirement using only 2 microliters

is no transfer of the sample to the test. The sample is absorbed
directly into the test by capillary action with no exposure to
sample as all blood is enclosed in barrel. The format is especially
designed for home use. Inverness has the largest point of care
marketing organization in the United States which supports a large
