What a ride, $800 to $400 on great earnings every time, I guess the problem is that even though they have great "earnings" they are spending the money on things not related to producing, like building apartments and they do not pay a dividend. Hopefully the Board of Directors can get them back on track because after all this is public company.

It's when you think a stock will continue to go up, regardless of signs it's overvalued already, that you set yourself for a rude awakening. Or is Axon the one exception? Likely not, long term.

Agreed I think the cops have enough on there belt, but if they are drployed for a knife they probably would like to have one in the car. Mental cases, domestic etc.

Looks like logical business line for them, not sure of the cost. Full disclosure I own both AXON and WRAP. Prior to his death I was also acquainted with Phil Smith their dad in another investment LWLG.

There is a lot of history to consider if they take over WRAP. WRAP was founded by the original founder of Taser if I recall.
I am not sure what the customer demand is, though. The potential targets will prefer WRAP, but will law enforcement?

Perhaps. I see AXON also taking over WRAP, which is 2 weighted fishing line hooks that wrap around a crazy person to prevent them from running or pinning their arms in place.

A Less lethal solution effective against knives which in close quarters are very dangerous.

So many other "industries" are adopting them, I see a natural addition to AXON is buying Vuzix for their lead in smart glasses.
The now AI-generated first reports save double the time that just the main incident reporting software saved years ago when they went to the cloud.

One of my all-time favorite stocks and such a well-executed marketing plan.

Every police force across the planet is going to body camera's, AXON also has the software that does the "first draft" of the reports.  It combines all officers data and timelines.  If they had this during the Trump assination report, the secret service and local law enforcement would not have looked like the keystone cops taking weeks to figure out who saw what at what time.

So far this week the covered 500k of the 2.5 million apparently hedged short that will no longer be needed by them.

So if I read this correctly, AXON is entering into an unsecured 1.5 billion dollar loan payable at 6.125% to pay off (repurchasing or redeeming) Axon's 0.50% Convertible Senior Notes. I'm not sure what they will do with the rest of the cash.


Now they have entered into separate, privately negotiated exchange agreements with certain holders of its 0.50% convertible senior notes due 2027. At $500 a share they will issue about 1 Million shares after the closing bell on March 13th. So what does this statement mean "In connection with these exchanges, Axon expects the various exchange agreement counterparties who have hedged their equity price risk with respect to the Notes being exchanged (the "hedged holders") will unwind all or part of their hedge positions by purchasing Axon's common stock and/or entering into or unwinding various derivative transactions with respect to Axon's common stock. The amount of Axon's common stock to be purchased by the hedged holders or the notional number of shares of Axon's common stock underlying such derivative transactions may be substantial in relation to the historic average daily trading volume of Axon's common stock. This activity by the hedged holders could increase (or reduce the size of any decrease in) the market price of Axon's common stock. Axon cannot predict the magnitude of such market activity or the overall effect it will have on the price of Axon's common stock."

As information typically lenders hedge their bet (loan) by shorting the stock during the lending period, just in case it moves down, as the loan (bet) is paid off more than likely they will close those positions.

As a percentage of the outstanding shares the current short count is very low. However, it is still at about 2.5 million shares, the average volume is about 1 million so we may see a little pressure to the upside from some of the shorts closing their position? For the record going forward this is currently at $500 (recently down from $700), how far will it head back up or even better blow through the $700 number? Stay tuned.

I can see a day in the not so distant future where a drone pod is on every police car that is also a charging station when the lights turn on, the vehicle stops and the door opens, at which time it moves to the front of the vehicle and looks in the windshield then hovers above.  The PD pays a couple bucks for each use, speeding tickets have a fee on each to cover.

If the perk runs the drone could persue, screen viewable on a cell phone, glasses and screen in the vehicle. That is down the road though.
