Appointment of administrators 
 
 
The Board of Widney plc has today appointed Kim Rayment and Toby Underwood of 
BDO Stoy Hayward LLP to act as Administrators of the Company and two trading 
Subsidiaries. 
 
 Further to the announcement on 13 February 2009 that the 
trading of shares was to be suspended, the Company has been unable to raise the 
required additional working capital required and so the Board have concluded 
that the Company is no longer in a position to continue its operations. It is 
anticipated that the Administrators will seek buyers for the business and assets 
of the Group.
