                       Electric Word PLC (the "Company")

                 Additional Listing and Director's Shareholding

Application has today been made for the admission of 857,144 Ordinary Shares to
trading on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange which
have been issued pursuant to the exercise of 857,144 warrants at 1p per share
and rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares in issue. Dealings in the
new Ordinary Shares are expected to commence on 18 November 2002.

Following the exercise of the warrants, Sylvester Stein, director, is interested
in 11,135,014 Ordinary Shares, representing 14.3 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company.
