                          Extension of Warrant Period





Electric Word plc announces that the period for the exercise of warrants (the "
Warrants") granted in March 2000 by one of its subsidiaries, Peak Performance
Publishing Limited ("PPP"), and due to expire on 17 March 2006 has been
extended, in accordance with the rules of the warrant instrument, to 17 March
2010.



This change brings the Warrants into line with the Company's other option
schemes. All other terms of the warrant instrument are unchanged and no new
grants of Warrants are being made.



The only remaining Warrant holders are Julian Turner and Nigel Wray, who are
potentially interested in respectively 9,428,584 and 1,928,574 shares in
Electric Word plc through their holding of Warrants. These interests remain
unchanged.
