Clydeport plc ("the Company") announces that it received notification today
from Phillips & Drew that Phillips & Drew Life Limited has a revised
notifiable interest in 2,194,131 Ordinary Shares of 5p each in the Company
representing approximately 5.31% of the issued ordinary share capital.
Phillips & Drew Life Limited is a subsidiary of Phillips & Drew Holding
Limited which is also treated as having an interest in the aforementioned
shares.  The aforementioned shares are registered in two nominee names and
include one holding totalling 2,043,638 Ordinary Shares of 5p each which is
registered in the name of PhilDrew Nominees Limited Account LF20.
