Carador Income Fund plc (the "Company")

Dividend declaration

The Board has declared a dividend of $0.0320 per U.S. Dollar Share and EUR0.0250 per Euro Share in respect of the period from 1 October 2011 to 30 December 2011 (3Q11: USD0.0300 and EUR0.0220). This dividend is payable on 6 February 2012 to shareholders on the register as at the close of business on 3 February 2012. The Board is not recommending payment of a dividend in respect of the U.S. Dollar C Shares for this period.

The Company estimates that total cash flow received by the general portfolio attributable to the Company (excluding the U.S. Dollar C Share class) during 2011 amounted to approximately $47.5 million of which $34.4 million was classified as income. Total expenses for the year are estimated as $4.5 million. As a result, net income available for distributions in 2011 is estimated to be $28.8 million of which $18.6 million was paid as dividends in the first, second and third quarter. The dividend declared for the fourth quarter of 2011 includes net income undistributed during the previous quarters of 2011.

This income estimate only reflects amounts received during the year from CLO Income Notes, and excludes accruals allocated to 2010 or received from payments received in 2012. The figures presented herein are unaudited and may be subject to revision.
