That's my read on it as well. I don't blame them for wanting to raise capital after the recent rise in share price. But, I believe they could have done better if they waited a while longer to do it.

It figures. Found the perfect company for trading WTI swings and they decide to dillute before it gets fun, sigh.

It left a huge open gap on the daily chart but basically fell to the 20wma on the weekly. We'll see how much it recovers soon enough.

I wasn't impressed with the quarterly overall but it wasn't terrible either. I'm playing this as an easy trade on the volatility in WTI crude. Even if the straight opened today, oil prices will continue to be elevated and climb for months to come until supply catches up again. Between some basic charting and the fact that the POTUS is predictable in his pumping and then rejecting of any "deal", the trading here is easy money $$$.

I have a stop-limit buy order in for when it breaks the $1.65 resistance level. If it continues to consolidate or pulls back, all the better for my entry price. Look at the chart on page 17 of the corporate presentation which compares the share price to the price of WTI crude oil, you can easily see the potential here.

I have some RING. But I have over 200,000 AZRH. I don't know how it can not double or triple before some people start dumping. only 45 million shares out. Float 14 million. Do your own D & D. Not the guys first time around. More up front about what's going on. Then any stock I have ever owned. Good luck on the RING.

Sometimes I feel like that. REI has some risk because of its high debt load. If it can manage (reduce) that, it could appreciate quite a bit. It would also benefit from any increase in crude prices.

Yea, middle east is attacking itself !!! Fuel prices should go up significantly for a while until they resolve their crap. Houthis from Yemen attacking Israel AND Saudi Arabia. Syria's oil infrastructure a mess from their "Civil War." The Terrorists that fought in Syria are now targeting Iran. They will probably cause chaos in the other "Stans" and Iraq on their way to Iran. The Taliban and Pakistani military started a war with each other in the past week. Al-Queada, The Muslim Brotherhood, and all of the other Muslim Terror groups are all going to fight for total power and control.

Among the emerging names in the oil & gas exploration sector, Ring Energy (NYSE:REI) looks attractive. REI stock has been subdued in the last few quarters and is trading at a valuation gap. With business developments remaining positive, I expect a sharp rally from current levels of $1.65.

An important point to note is that Ring Energy commands a market valuation of $334 million. In comparison, the oil & gas company has proved reserves of 129.8 mmboe and has a PV10 of $1.65 billion. That puts into perspective the extent of undervaluation.

I also like the fact that Ring Energy has a good track record of production growth. Between 2018 and 2023, the company’s production has increased at a CAGR of 26%. That has been supported by the acquisition of oil & gas assets.

However, it’s equally important to mention that production growth has been associated with an upside in cash flows. For Q1 2024, Ring Energy reported an adjusted free cash flow of $15.6 million. On a year-on-year basis. FCF swelled by 48%. Therefore, with multiple positive business and financial metrics, REI stock is a likely value creator."
