Pacific Ridge relinquishes Nevada claim
2004-04-27 16:08 ET - News Release
Mr. Blaine Monaghan reports
NO FURTHER WORK PLANNED AT GOLDEN ARROW
Pacific Ridge Exploration has advised Nevada Sunrise LLC, on April 27, 2004, that Pacific Ridge will not be proceeding with further work at the Golden Arrow property located in Nye county, Nevada, and accordingly, the option agreement between Pacific Ridge and Nevada Sunrise was terminated effective that date. Pacific Ridge's decision to relinquish the Golden Arrow property was based on exploration results not meeting corporate objectives.
Pacific Ridge is continuing with a program of exploration in Nevada with plans to drill the SNO property in Elko county this summer as well as finalizing agreements on additional properties currently undergoing technical due diligence.
Exploration activity also continues in Nunavut, Yukon and British Columbia.
In Nunavut, Pacific Ridge is responding to terms offered by a potential joint venture participant on the Matrix Gold project. The Matrix Gold project covers gold-bearing conglomerates in a similar geologic setting to Witwatersrand gold mineralization in South Africa.
In Yukon, Pacific Ridge is considering proposals for continued drilling of the Fyre Lake project, where the Kona massive sulphide 8.2-million-tonne VMS deposit grading 2.1 per cent copper, 0.11 per cent cobalt and 0.73 gram per tonne gold remains open-ended for resource expansion.
In B.C., a joint venture partner will be sought for continued exploration of diamond-bearing kimberlitic diatreme dikes at the Xeno project.

Drilling Indicates Deeper Gold Zones
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pacific Ridge has two drills turning at the Golden Arrow Property near Tonopah, Nevada, with 15 holes now completed on four gold zones. Drilling is focused on testing gold feeder vein zones below known gold zones at vertical depths of 200 to 400 metres.
- Assays results have been received for the initial 5 widely spaced drill holes (hole numbers 287 to 291) testing depth extensions of the feeder vein system at the Gold Coin Zone. Two of the five holes intersected high-grade mineralization between sections 2300N and 3000N, and are now defining the lateral limits of the deeper gold vein system.
Results of the initial 5 holes at the Gold Coin zone are summarized below:
Gold Coin Zone - Drill Hole Results

291 2800 242.4 243.9 1.5 19.4 62.5
-------------------------------------------------------------------
- Assays are still pending for 5 holes testing deep feeder vein systems at the Hidden Hill - 186 Zone, where drilling has intersected broad zones of intense alteration along with quartz veins.
- Results from 2 holes testing the Sunrise geochemical target are pending.
Drilling is continuing at Golden Arrow with 15 of the planned 45-hole Phase II program now completed.

Pacific Ridge begins phase II drilling at Golden Arrow
Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd PEX
Shares issued 18,301,576 Nov 11 close $0.23
Wed 12 Nov 2003 News Release
Mr. John Brock reports
PACIFIC RIDGE EXPLORATION LTD. - DRILLING UNDERWAY AT GOLDEN ARROW
Pacific Ridge Exploration has disclosed that phase II drilling is under way
at its advanced-staged Nevada gold project, the Golden Arrow, located in
the Walker Lane gold belt near Tonopah, Nev. The 2003 phase II program
calls for approximately 7,600 metres (25,000 feet) of drilling on two
high-grade epithermal gold vein feeder systems within the Gold Coin and
Hidden Hill zones as well as initial drilling of the large recently
discovered Sunrise target.
Gold Coin zone
Pacific Ridge's earlier 2003 phase I drilling at the Gold Coin zone was
successful in extending known gold veins to a depth of 150 metres and
confirmed open-ended high-grade gold mineralization over widths of 2.5 to
five metres. For example, drilling on Section 2700 has traced
mineralization to a down-dip depth of 122 metres with an average grade of
29.9 grams per tonne gold and 98.9 grams per tonne silver over an average
width of three metres and remains open to depth. The Gold Coin West and
East veins, two prominent feeder veins to the bulk tonnage mineralization,
have been outlined by drilling over a length of 800 metres and remain wide
open to depth. Pacific Ridge plans drilling along the 800-metre length of
the zone to test the projected epithermal-boiling zone at depth for
higher-grade gold potential.
Hidden Hill zone
Pacific Ridge has yet to carry out any drilling at the Hidden Hill zone and
adjacent zone 186, where potential exists for expanding three subparallel
feeder vein zones within and below previously drilled bulk tonnage
mineralization. Previous drilling programs have partially defined
high-grade vein structures to a depth of 130 metres along the 400-metre
strike length. For example, vein A on Section 2650 averages 26.2 grams per
tonne gold over three metres to a depth of 100 metres. All three veins,
which remain open to depth and along strike, will now see drilling by
Pacific Ridge during the 2003 phase II program.
Sunrise zone
A propertywide geochemical survey was successful in defining additional
exploration targets on the 18-square-kilometre Golden Arrow property. The
priority target is the north-south trending Sunrise zone that is located
approximately 500 metres east of the Gold Coin zone. The Sunrise target
measures approximately 1,000 metres in length and 500 metres in width and
is defined by a strong coincident gold-mercury-arsenic-pH geochemical
anomaly associated with a broad zone of highly silicified volcanic rocks
with quartz-adularia stockwork veining. Preliminary surface sampling by
Pacific Ridge yielded grab samples assaying to 1.8 grams per tonne gold.
Sunrise is a large bulk tonnage gold target with a similar geologic setting
to the nearby Round Mountain mine, which has published resources of 300
million tonnes grading 0.7 gram per tonne gold containing six million
ounces gold.
The Golden Arrow exploration program is under the supervision of Pacific
Ridge's vice-president, exploration, Wayne J. Roberts, PGeo, a qualified
person as defined within National Policy 43-101. Pacific Ridge has the
option to earn a 60-per-cent interest in the Golden Arrow project from
Nevada Sunrise, LLC, a private Nevada corporation.

What if the guys who bought all that ten cent paper now want to sell it back at the same price? Are they going to give the monkeys on the treadmill electric shock so they reach higher?
HOLD ONTO YOUR STOCK, FELLOWS, THERE IS A GARGANTUAN MINE UNDER THOSE SAND DUNES. WAIT UNTIL MORE LUGUBURIOUS WIDOWS AND ORPHANS COME ALONG WHO WANT TO HOLD THE STOCK AT ONE DOLLAR. DON'T WORRY, NEBRASKA IS FULL OF THEM.
And when they run out in Nebraska the St. Petersburg "eh, what's that?" investment club wants to get in on the fun. Finally there are some people from Hong Kong who want mining stock with blue coloured borders to decorate their club lounge, because they just bought the island of Sardinia, and it goes well with the view of the sea at sunset.

Post scriptosis:
Who are the newsletter writers out there nowadays who do decent stuff on the pennies?
Roulston is one loads of data, believes in mines, Kaiser waxes and wanes still.
I see where Bishop is doing a fade on the business. Ted Carter is dead a while back. Geoff Carter really does engineering reports more than news. Rick Rule is a macro-eco-gold pundit.
Chelekis is banned, Kaplan still negates gold while telling you it will rise again, Keith Barron (from Kirkland Lake phd geo) promotes mines and does a good gold prognosticate. (Golden Eagle etc..) Will-P (what's his hammer) at Stockhouse-Stockwatch does the in depth rag on the popular plays, John Wood at Stockwatch still critiques the legit scandals, and D. Bain probably stills pour vitriol on the flakey hands at the V-Sun. (Boy would it ever be a good short squeeze to flake those guys out with a winner driller... heh-heh.. nothing like causing people million dollar losses on their shorts with 800 feet of 7% copper .. )
There are a bunch. Got a short list? , (excluding the infamous free email guys whom we know all too well, with their cheap shots and cheaper touts.)
I like volumes of info. Canadian Miner, E & MJ, CMJ, CIM, Roulston, Northern Miner, I devour them all. Read them like bedtime stories. Better than tales of Eric the Red and his marauding coastline raiders.

To get zoom in, wave both hands palms down in a washing motion over the ball. Zoom out is not possible without reboot. Right palm facing left to left of ball in chopping motion - scroll right, left palm, opposite motion, scroll left. Lying flat figure-eight with both hands over top of ball -- change channel. Mantra is "Pezim, Wezim dead stock, mezzim, Aberow, dowbrow, uptick, lowbrow". To invoke the spirit of Bernard Baruch, take an A-440 tuning fork, hold it in front of the crystal, and hit it twice in rapid succession with an 1859 Golden Eagle. Bernie will appear with a big grin and ask you how much you have lost in the market so far. He will also give you highs and lows, but won't tell you when to trade. If you ask him for timing, he just shrugs and says "how should I know? If I knew anything, I wouldn't be in this cheap crystal ball. Get the deluxe version, it has J.P. Morgan"

Yep, that is correct and where I got it:
"I found it on the website. Fully diluted 38.71 million as of June 20th."
FWIW, am likely going to wait and hope PEX gets knocked down under the PP price before purchasing... Given any significant correction in POG, then I would not be surprised to see prices under C$.13
There should be plenty of time to purchase this company, given it needs to raise C$5M over the next few years, can hopefully catch a nice down price spike when someone bails... Like the company and its prospects, but these Vancouver traded stocks often get whacked.... or so I hope...
