Ten Alps Communications plc ('Ten Alps') today confirms new broadcast
commissions which are signed or going into production. This announcement adds
detail to the AGM statement of 18 July which referred to the general likelihood
of new TV business impacting in the second half of the financial year.

                                   TELEVISION

Anderson

* Pax Americana: two 1-hour films about America and the Middle East for BBC2 by
the same team that made the multi-award-winning 'Fall of Milosevic' programme

television.')

* I Met Osama Bin Laden - a one-hour film for BBC2

In radio, the new commissions are:

* The Smith Lectures with Arthur Smith, going into its 9th series on BBC Radio 2
from January.

* The Story of Rolling Stone Magazine for Radio 2, hosted by Cameron Crowe,
Hollywood director of Almost Famous and Jerry Maguire

The current radio slate, as also referred to in the June 2003 results, includes:

Live on Sunday mornings.

* Good Times - The History of Disco, six programmes for BBC Radio 2, hosted by

"We are pleased at the range of production from factual to comedy," said Ten
Alps Finance Director Nitil Patel. "But we of course need always to be looking
for further work to solidify our financial position, and this period is
certainly no exception."

"We also continue to focus our interest on possible acquisition activity in the
TV sector. We believe, as do most industry commentators, that the
recently-passed Communications Bill offers significant opportunities for
independent TV production companies. It could well open the way for some
consolidation and expansion in the industry."

Ten Alps also owns two advertising agencies, which in July reported strong
trading for the first three months of the year. Additionally it has two events
companies.
