On December 11, 2015, the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Viewtran Group, Inc. (the “Company”) received a letter of resignation from Dr. George Mao, effective immediately. On December 14, 2015, the Board received a letter of resignation from Dr. Nathan Zhang, effective immediately. Each of Dr. Mao and Dr. Zhang indicated that his resignation was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, polices or practices.
