TGRP **Yes, the partnership between Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drugs and Alchem Laboratories (often referred to as Alchem Lab) is a significant and recent development** — announced just two days ago on **January 15, 2026**. It's being described as a **strategic alliance** aimed at advancing essential medicines, which aligns well with Cost Plus Drugs' mission to improve affordability, transparency, and supply chain reliability for critical drugs.
### Key Details of the Partnership- **Focus Areas**: The alliance is centered on developing and supplying **essential medicine therapeutics**, with a strong emphasis on improving **supply chain resiliency** (addressing drug shortages, which have been a major issue in the US).- **Specific Collaboration**: The parties will work together to supply **86 essential medicines and medical countermeasures**, including **critical care drugs** and **antimicrobials**.- **Prior Collaboration Example**: Alchem has already supported Cost Plus Drugs by providing **process development** for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) in drugs like **lidocaine** (a common anesthetic) and **diltiazem** (a heart medication). Cost Plus Drugs uses a highly automated, AI-integrated manufacturing platform for these.- **Broader Context**: This builds on Alchem's previous alliances (e.g., with Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation in Canada in September 2025 for antimicrobial and essential medicines programs). Both companies retain flexibility to pursue funding and development based on project needs.- **Why It's a Big Deal**: - It expands Cost Plus Drugs' capabilities beyond distribution and retail generics into more advanced development and manufacturing of high-need drugs. - It supports the company's push for domestic production, shortage prevention, and lower costs — especially timely amid ongoing industry pressures like drug shortages and calls for transparency. - The announcement came via a press release distributed widely (e.g., EINPresswire, Akron Beacon Journal, National Law Review), signaling it's positioned as a meaningful step in Cost Plus Drugs' growth strategy.
This isn't a minor or one-off deal — it's framed as a **strategic, long-term alliance** with concrete goals around essential/high-unmet-need medicines. It's one of the more production/manufacturing-focused partnerships for Cost Plus Drugs recently (alongside others like Morris & Dickson for injectables or 9amHealth for obesity drugs).
No major updates or expansions reported since the January 15 announcement (as of today, January 17, 2026). For the full press release, check sources like EINPresswire or Cost Plus Drugs' site/news section.

TGRP...very nice press release.....
TGRP not a skinny one, but this news is interesting to me.
Always nice when these OTC stocks get a chance to form some type of alliance or business relationship with prominent corporations or wealthy individuals. I think when people first look at TGRP they see that 148M DTC number and it can cause some buying hesitation (which is completely understandable). But the CEO owns almost 82% (150.5M shares) of the company, and I am guessing he doesn't have plans to sell his position anytime soon, so that leaves about 33.5M shares out there for investors to fight over. The optics of a 33.5M DTC versus a 148M DTC can make a bit of a difference in how investors view the stock.

Couple of items from the last 2 weeks.....
1) Alchem Laboratories was awarded a contract this week (September 15) from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It is a 7-year contract with a $50M ceiling value.
https://www.fpds.gov/ezsearch/search.do?q=%22Alchem+laboratories%22&s=FPDS.GOV&templateName=1.5.3&indexName=awardfull&sortBy=SIGNED_DATE&desc=Y
2) Alchem Laboratories announced on September 3 that it has formed a strategic alliance with Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation. I think this is a pretty interesting development that TGRP should have done a better job of promoting. I'm not sure why they chose not to put this press release on the company website and OTC Markets.
Alchem Laboratories and Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation (API) Forge Strategic Alliance to Advance Antimicrobial and Essential Medicines Programs
ALACHUA, FL, UNITED STATES, September 3, 2025 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Alchem Laboratories Corporation (“Alchem”) and Applied Pharmaceutical Innovation Ltd. (“API”) today announced the formation of a strategic alliance to explore and advance joint initiatives in the fields of antimicrobials and essential medicine therapeutics, improving supply chain resiliency.
Working with as a secondary site for Alchem’s Florida-based active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing for U.S. government contracts including the National Institutes of Health and United States Department of Defense, API’s Canadian-funded security of supply capacity can be brought to bear if needed, providing critical redundancy, while enabling the growth of US-based supply chains.
Under the terms of the agreement, the parties will also collaborate on promising programs and the ability to move forward with respect to future funding proposals and R&D efforts. This structure enables both parties to evaluate opportunities for 2025-2026 to focus on drug shortage requirements.
The alliance is oriented toward the non-commercial advancement of antimicrobial agents and essential medicines to filing-ready status, with particular emphasis on ensuring equitable access to critical therapies.
As initial candidate projects, Alchem and API are proposing to supply products from “Essential Medicines” referenced in ASPR’s 2022 list of 86 essential medicines and medical countermeasures for the Strategic Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Reserve (SAPIR).
“API’s Canadian Critical Drug Initiative is a $200 million investment into capacity that is specifically designed with these sorts of collaborations in mind,” say API CEO, Andrew MacIsaac, “we’re able to significantly improve supply chain resiliency, without distorting the market, while also enabling partners like Alchem to build domestic supply.”
“We’re very pleased to announce this next step in Alchem’s growth,” says Alchem CEO, James Talton, “as a Florida-based active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer we’ve been a supplier of choice for industry and government. This project with API expands our capabilities and enables us to bring a stronger offering to bear as we work to improve the US-based manufacturing sector.”
This alliance underscores Alchem’s and API’s shared mission to enhance pharmaceutical innovation in critical therapeutic areas and to better support access to essential treatments.
Both Alchem and API maintain the flexibility to pursue funding and development pathways commensurate with project maturity and strategic alignment.
