Tremisis Energy Acquisition Corporation ("Tremisis") (OTCBB: TEGY) announced today that Lawrence S. Coben, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Isaac Kier, Secretary and Director and Jon Schotz, Director ("Directors") have entered into a written plan to purchase an aggregate of 75,000 shares of common stock of Tremisis and 1,000,000 warrants to purchase shares of common stock of Tremisis pursuant to Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. All common stock and warrants purchased under the written plan shall be split equally among the three Directors. Accordingly, if the maximum number of shares and warrants are purchased, each Director will have purchased 25,000 shares of common stock and approximately 333,333 warrants.
