Vodafone Group PLC (VOD) has added Italy's Fastweb SpA to a list of potential takeover targets as it seeks to bolster its fixed-line and internet assets, Bloomberg reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Vodafone, which is currently engaged in a possible takeover of Kabel Deutschland Holding AG (KBDHY), made informal approaches this year and in 2011 of the Swisscom AG unit that were rejected, two of the people said.
