ROLLS-ROYCE EXPANDS GLOBAL NUCLEAR SERVICES FOOTPRINT
WITH ACQUISITION OF PKMJ TECHNICAL SERVICES
Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has today
announced the acquisition of PKMJ Technical Services, a nuclear
engineering services business in the
United States.
Rolls-Royce has significant expertise in developing innovative
techniques and solutions to manage, enhance and extend the lifetime
of nuclear power plants. The acquisition of PKMJ Technical Services
will accelerate growth for Rolls-Royce in the important nuclear
services market.

Rolls-Royce supports a number of key phases of the nuclear
programme, including providing advice to governments and operators,
supply chain management, and manufacturing and technical
engineering support. The Group's nuclear services activity
represents more than half of its civil nuclear business and
includes support to operational reactors in 20 countries across
Europe, North America and Asia.

Republic, North America and

services. These services span the whole reactor lifecycle, from
concept design through to obsolescence management and plant life
extension. With nuclear expertise including component
manufacturing, licensing, project and supply chain management as
