QNTQY Qinetiq Group PLC (PK)

QinetiQ Group PLC (QQ.LN), which provides technical advice to customers in the global aerospace, defense and security markets, Monday announced that it has sold its U.K. fuel and lubricants business based in Farnborough to Intertek Group PLC, a provider of quality and safety solutions, for a total cash consideration of GBP0.5 million.

MAIN FACTS:

-This disposal is in line with QinetiQ's stated intention to focus on its core capabilities.

-Shares closed Friday at GBP1.13 valuing the company at GBP746.34 million.
