NEW YORK, Oct. 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The last six months
has been challenging and exhilarating. It all began with Marathon
Group attempting to become compliant reporting as required by Pink
Sheets. The exercise took more than we anticipated to remove the
skull from its ticker symbol and to become reporting; couple with
the decision to restructure shareholding base and domiciling of
Marathon to the State of
Wyoming.
During the same time Marathon Group underwent 100 to 1 reverse
stock split, although painful to some but strategic to the
company's future. Marathon was consumed primarily with compliance
and full disclosure issues stemming from the fact that prior owners
stopped reporting.
I am glad to say that we made some gains by being compliant and
reporting. Marathon Group is on a stronger footing as a result and
we will continue to build on our gains.
Our current infrastructure will enhance our shareholder base and
at same time, I intend to vigorously keep our commitment to
communicating with our shareholders and the public about our
business model. I want to assure our investors and stakeholders
that we are serious about building a company that provides equity
value and continuity of purpose.
The prospects for future development is very promising once
these teething problems are resolved, I plan to rapidly grow the
company organically and through acquisitions. This includes filing
registration with the SEC to become OTCBB reporting in the shortest
possible time.
