Foxconn Division Deploys NexPrise Quotation Solution CARLSBAD,
Calif., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NexPrise, Inc. (OTC BB:
NXPS.OB) today announced that NWE Technology, a division of Foxconn
Electronics, has deployed a NexPrise solution for the automation of
NWE Technology's quotation process. The solution automates the
process of preparing price quotes for NWE Technology's customers.
It analyzes customer bills of material against a database of
historical costs, allows for the addition of markups or other
costs, and performs calculations before generating
customer-specific quotes and reports. The NexPrise solution has
reduced the time to process quotes by over 90%, increased quote
accuracy, and improved quote consistency. It has also improved the
collaboration between NWE Technology employees in California and in
manufacturing operations in China. "The quoting process is a
critical part of the relationship between contract manufacturers
and their customers," according to Bill Jang, NWE Technology's
Director of Operations. "The NexPrise solution improves the
confidence our customers have in NWE Technology. Our quotes are
accurate, consistent, and timely. Furthermore, we respond more
effectively and efficiently to customer requests." About NWE
