Schoolpop & Red Apple Morley Announce Strategic Distribution
Partnership Red Apple to Use Expert Fundraising Sales Force to
Distribute Schoolpop's Auction & Earn(TM) and Supply &
Earn(TM) Programs ATLANTA, Aug. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Schoolpop, Inc.
(http://www.schoolpop.com/), a leading nontraditional fundraising
company and subsidiary of LoyaltyPoint, Inc. (OTC:LYLPOTC:
http://www.loyaltypoint.com) (BULLETIN BOARD: LYLP,
http://www.loyaltypoint.com/) , a loyalty marketing company for
merchants, schools, and nonprofits, and Red Apple Morley, a
national fundraising company and the exclusive national distributor
of Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough, today announced a multi-year
strategic partnership. Schoolpop will use Red Apple Morley's
140-person national direct sales force to exclusively distribute to
existing and prospective accounts Schoolpop's innovative Supply
& Earn back to school supplies program as well as Schoolpop's
Auction & Earn run program through eBay. The partnership
represents a best of breed combination of a top traditional and a
leading nontraditional fundraising company combining forces to make
funding support easier for schools and parents. The two programs
are a good fit for Red Apple Morley's existing school clients.
Schoolpop's Supply & Earn program allows parents to shop at
competitive prices for their school's custom supply list and have
the supplies shipped direct to the home, ending the days of rushing
around to various retailers piece-parting required supply lists
during the first week of school. In addition to the program's ease
and convenience for parents, Schoolpop contributes a percentage of
the selling price to the school. Red Apple Morley also will
distribute Schoolpop's Auction & Earn program, which allows
parents and supporters to donate high-value, unwanted items to the
school in exchange for a tax deduction. Schoolpop cleans,
photographs, and lists the donated items on eBay, following sale
arranges for shipment and contributes a percentage of the selling
price to the school. "Overnight, Schoolpop has access to a Red
Apple Morley's fundraising sales force with an existing base of
thousands of school clients," said Paul Robinson, CEO of Schoolpop.
"Our exclusive school supply and auction-based programs make it
easy for schools to generate additional dollars without requiring
tremendous effort and time." "Our school customers are asking for
innovative fundraising programs that are easy to manage and
convenient for parents, and the two Schoolpop programs fit the
bill," said Ron Davies, CEO of Red Apple Morley. "Our multi-year
partnership will maximize earning power for our schools through a
unique combination of simple, powerful fundraising tools from both
companies." Additional terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
