OTTAWA, Ontario, September 30, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc. (TSXV: YFI) (OTC: KPIFF) ("Edgewater" or the "Company"), the industry pioneer of AI-powered Wi-Fi Spectrum Slicing™ technology today announced its unaudited financial results for the three months ended July 31, 2025 ("Q1 FY2026") and provided an update on recent corporate developments. All figures are in Canadian dollars and prepared in accordance with IFRS unless otherwise stated.

Q1 FY2026 Business Highlights
Ecosystem & brand: Presented Spectrum Slicing benefits for managed broadband at RDK Tech Summit 2025 (London) and participated in the Silicon Catalyst Portfolio Company Update (Silicon Valley); launched a new corporate website and updated investor presentation.
Non-dilutive funding: ~C$921,000 award from FABrIC, Canada’s flagship semiconductor commercialization program, contributing to a ~C$2.4 million development project.
Talent & incentives: Granted 500,000 stock options to a consultant (vested over two years) to align with milestone execution.
Subsequent Developments (Post-quarter)
Product milestones: Completed packaging of the Company’s RF front-end; initiated prototyping of an Arm-powered AI subsystem to enhance intelligent, edge-centric Wi-Fi performance.

Q1 FY2026 Financial Summary (three months ended July 31, 2025)
As of July 31, 2025, Edgewater reported cash of $622,753 and a working capital deficiency with current assets of $909,936 and current liabilities of $1,623,803. For the quarter, the Company recorded a net loss of $359,956 (basic and diluted loss per share: $0.002; 237,879,348 weighted-average shares outstanding), driven by operating expenses of $359,736—including G&A of $267,460 and product development of $68,113—partially offset by $72,060 of other income related to eligible FABrIC program costs. Results also reflect a non-cash change in fair value of convertible debentures of $58,469; current convertible debentures were $480,800 at quarter-end. All figures are in Canadian dollars and unaudited. Edgewater Wireless Systems Inc. (TSXV: YFI) (OTC: KPIFF), the industry leader in Wi-Fi Spectrum Slicing technology for residential and enterprise markets, announces that, subject to regulatory approval, it has engaged the services of Independent Trading Group (“ITG”) to provide market-making services in accordance with the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) policies. ITG will trade shares of the Company on the TSXV and all other trading venues with the objective of maintaining a reasonable market and improving the liquidity of the Company’s common shares.
Under the agreement, ITG will receive compensation of CAD$5,000 per month, payable monthly in advance. The agreement is for an initial term of one month and will renew for additional one-month terms unless terminated. Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days’ notice. There are no performance factors contained in the agreement, and ITG will not receive shares or options as compensation. ITG and the Company are unrelated and unaffiliated entities, and at the time of the agreement, neither ITG nor its principals have an interest, directly or indirectly, in the securities of the Company.
