Jaguar Mining Inc (QX) (JAGGF)

Glad I held off on this one. I'm going to buy in the $2.50-$3.00 range. Maybe lower. They're burning too much cash with the higher costs of diesel, explosives, labor and everything else.

JAGGF is near my buy target. With a lot of mining stocks run up with negative earnings it's interesting to see this one with a good PE.

I'm going to watch it and start buying at sub-$5.00

I think mining stocks will drop a bit and JAGGF will be included.

I started buying mining stocks in December of 2018 - some crazy low deals and it's been tough to target mining stocks that have more upside than the majority which have run.

Thanks for the thoughts. I took profit on about 1/3 of the shares i have. Will ride the rest through the whole bull market

Two reasons :

1. They've got lots of gold;
2. This is Eric Sprott's "stalking horse" for South America, and Those Who Know follow Mr. Sprott.

And Jaguar is also an excellent example of why one should never give up on a Company - no matter how bleak the immediate moment might look - if they really, truly do have "the goods".

Everybody had left this one for dead about 3 years ago - including myself - but when I saw Sprott pony up some serious coin at the Company's low point, I said... "Ah ha...!"

Yes, this is Sprott's South America "stalking horse"; now that the rollback is done, Eric's going to use Jaguar to consolidate as much of SA as he can.

Jaguar is Eric Sprott's "stalking horse" for all of South America. And with the 10-into-1 raising the price to institutionally-attractive levels plus a just-announced dividend ( yes, already! ) it's very clear Eric is going to go "shopping" using JAGGF shares for Green Stamps.

Yeah, that was DCG*'s story 10 years ago, a gold "play". They actually held permits in Ghana that I worked on before them, as a geo for a miner/explorer in Ghana.

There was actually a small jungle GC near the property owned by expat oil palm farmers, they rarely used it so we played it for free - just "dash" (bribe) the groundskeepers a few $ to play...

DCG*'s new story is of course as maybe a MJ entity merge into a shell and lots of hype, but I've done well with it.

Jaguar is another story. An undervalued gold miner in Brazil rescued from the brink of bankruptcy by Sprott, who owns twenty something percent of the co. If Sprott validates this play, good enough for me, but I missed the big rise a few days ago...

Not terribly prospective for gold I have to admit, but there was a nice little nine hole golf course nearby owned by the oil palm plantation that we got to use for free so wasn't a total write-off...

Please tell us more about that course !....It wasn't a goat ranch with furry greens ? Strictly private I imagine or did it have a Pro Shop / green fees/ etc. ?

What (publicly-traded ?) company was it in Ghana you were down there for ?

Sheesh - It's so hard to keep track of the various tickers - they frequently just get forgotten...Stumble upon then again months later (thanks for the reminder), only to find out that they've risen 90 percent....ha-ha-ha-argh! Oh well....

They are basically bankrupt and are doing a "reorganization" in which current commons will only have 1% of emerging company.

It should be under a penny already but some don't understand what is about to happen.

JMO - but you can look at their reorg plan and see for yourself to see if you see something better than me.

In 2012 JAG was $7.28 a share it's now 7 cents, What happened, Anyone care to share some legit and honest "dd" on this one, my goodness unless they sold everything or filed for bankruptcy it looks like this would be worth than 7 cents. I mean i've seen scam penny stocks at $2.00 a share that was pumped and was benig organized out of the basement of a house. Does this company have any assets at all left.

With all their assets located in Brazil, I see why their SP is going down. Civil unrest is widespread there. Could nationalization BE FAR BEHIND?

Brazil is supposed to host these international events soon. They better get s*** together fast or the country and our investment will be toast.

I ran across a neighbor of a mine in Crescent Valley, a bit up the hill, that is going underground with some good drilling results. Maybe they will buy out the con artists for their mill.
