Plastic Logic will begin manufacturing flexible active-matrix displays for electronic readers at its commercial manufacturing facility in Dresden, Germany. The SharpEye product provides analysis of functional and cosmetic defects in the display to assure quality in the manufacturing process, and the system will be used by this customer to inspect defects in the flexible display.
