GT Legend Automotive Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets:GTLA) issued a statement today that a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed for the company to acquire Compassionate Therapeutic Solutions, LLC based in Colorado Springs. Eugene Espinosa, President of Compassionate Therapeutic Solutions, will assume the role of President of GTLA.

Compassionate Therapeutic Solutions, LLC is a multidisciplinary behavioral health care practice that offers mental health, substance abuse and primary caregiver services to communities of Colorado. The company's focus is to provide cost-effective quality treatment and to create, promote, and maintain a positive customer relationship with clients, associates and the community. One of the functions of the clinic would be to provide comprehensive care to individuals who are registered and authorized to utilize medical marijuana.

Eugene Espinosa, President of CTS, has completed the course work and clinical supervision requirements for a Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado. His B.A. is from the University of Colorado and his M.A. was re-earned from the University of Northern Colorado. Mr. Espinosa has over thirty years experience working in government agencies. He served as Clinic Director for three Community Mental Health Centers in Nevada and as Clinical Director for the Cheyenne Mountain Re-Entry Center in Colorado. He has also been employed as a Psychologist II for the Nevada Department of Corrections. In 2004, he retired from the State of Colorado as a primary Therapist responsible for the Reintegration Opportunity Unit for the Colorado Department of Corrections. He also worked for Colorado State Hospital and Colorado State University. From 2006 to present, he has provided therapy and consulted for CTS, LLC.

"In light of the recent shooting at the Pentagon, I feel obligated to address the incongruous link that some media outlets suggest between the shooter's violent choice of behavior and his reported use of marijuana. Studies show that marijuana allows for improved functionality and pain relief, making it a valuable resource for qualified, registered and medically supervised users. Medical marijuana, as with any drug or controlled substance, is intended to be used under the close supervision of licensed professionals, such as those who staff CTS. CTS has been developed to identify the best therapeutic practices for medical marijuana users. In fact, we have been encouraging senators and other public officials to enforce a treatment plan to monitor medical marijuana use. Had the shooter properly utilized medical marijuana under the care and supervision of a therapist, his mental illness and behavioral tendencies would have been spotted and addressed, and this tragic incident may have been avoided. Marijuana cannot be blamed for this incident; rather, it should be attributed to a biochemical irregularity, coupled with poor choices and lack of proper supervision."
