The SEC faced little to no opposition when they proposed their rule changes (15c-211) and the creation of the expert market. These rule implementations have killed the OTC. Many on these boards still do not understand what happenned to the OTC, why we are not seeing these stocks run like we used to, and when the OTC will return. The fact is, it will NOT return and will likely not be around in another couple of years unless the SEC ROLLS back their market killing regulations. They need to abolish the expert market and make the over 3k stocks on the EM available to trade to retail once again. They need to go back to the skull and crossbones warnings but allow for a free and fair market of even the most risky stocks. For those who want to contact the SEC (I already have) this is their Twitter ROLL BACK your market killing regulation on the OTC! Your regulations have been overkill and many are leaving the OTC in droves. Kill the corrupt "expert market" and open up the (over 3k) stocks on that market and make them available to retail again! Others need to light them up and tell them....we do not need big brother telling us what stocks to trade!

Sad but true.......

When these new SEC regulations were announced......I was on Twitter warning everyone of the damage it would cause. Now that the new rules have been implemented this past year, everyone sees the damage it has caused. The OTC penny stock market is no longer a creator of wealth for the small investor. I only have a handful of OTC stocks left and I am not playing any more OTC's. This market is finished. I would not be surprised to see the OTC fold completely in the next couple of years.

This is where the OTC went wrong https://www.sec.gov/news/press-release/2020-212 The amendment 15c-211 and the creation of the expert market (which is an inherently corrupt concept). thanks to the SEC. These new rules killed the OTC's biggest catalysts that have historically, made these stocks run up so big. Reverse mergers are one of those catalysts...they have dried up and will soon be no more. It's why people on the reverse merger boards are now talking sports. The SEC fundamentally changed the OTC forever with these changes. That is why no one is making money. At least the kind of money we used to. Feel protected yet? Big brother does'nt like it when the little guy (retail) succeeds. RIP OTC.
