DND Technologies Announces Record Results for Fiscal 2004 CHANDLER,
Ariz., April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DND Technologies
(NASDAQ:DNDT.OB) and its sole operating subsidiary, Aspect Systems,
Inc. (ASI), today announced results for its fiscal year ended
December 31, 2004. The company posted revenues of $15.8 million,
representing an 82 percent improvement over the $8.7 million
revenue posted the prior year. Net income also more than tripled,
jumping from a $2.8 million loss (-$.12 per share) in fiscal 2003
to a $1.2 million profit ($.05 per share) in fiscal 2004. "I am
extremely encouraged by what we were able to accomplish during this
past year," said Dennis Key, president and CEO of ASI. "At the
beginning of the year, there were formidable and distracting
obstacles confronting the company, most of which we were able to
resolve during the course of the year. This allowed us to re-focus
our attention on the important needs of our customers and on
improving our manufacturing efficiencies." Demand for ASI's
products and services remained strong throughout the year, with
much of the system business stemming from new OEM product sales. In
addition, ASI benefited from increased demand for many of the
re-manufactured products added to the company's growing line over
the last two years. As a result, ASI is entering fiscal 2005 with a
strong backlog. Moreover, the company believes that its continued
strong quoting activity signals that the momentum will continue
this year. To achieve the progressive goals set for the company
going forward, Key reports that cost reduction and aggressive cost
control will be important factors. According to Key, "with that
said, given that much of the manufacturing learning curve is now
behind us, we believe we are poised to meet those goals over the
course of the year." Safe Harbor Statement: Statements in this

the impact of improved efficiencies and cost management strategies

(ASI) is a well-established equipment and engineering services
company, offering a broad suite of services to the semiconductor
industry. The company recently directed its attention to the
growing market for equipment that has been proven to serve the
needs of discrete manufacturers who are building .25 micron and
higher devices on 100mm to 200mm wafers, and do not require the
more advanced, and capital intensive, equipment to achieve their
goals. To meet this demand, ASI has greatly enhanced its technical
capability with the addition of a full line of ref urbished and
highly customized products. Offered on the popular Rainbow and TCP
platforms, and originally manufactured by Lam Research, Inc., the
more recent addition of a variety of products are manufactured on
the company's MX-1, MX-10, Arista and Arista Dual product platforms
(formerly marketed by Matrix Integrated Systems and Axcelis
Technologies, Inc., under the trade names of System One, System
Ten, Bobcat and Cheetah). It is ASI's intention to continue adding
relevant products and services as they become available to address
the needs of this growing market. DATASOURCE: Aspects Systems, Inc.
