American Commerce Solutions, Inc. (OTCBB:AACS) today released preliminary results of operations for IMW, its wholly owned subsidiary, for March 2006, the first month of its new fiscal year. Daniel L. Hefner, President and CEO of ACS reported, "Subject to final adjustments, IMW will close out March with total revenue of just over $210 K for the first month of their fiscal year. This is in contrast to slightly over $134 K for the same period last year. This represents a revenue increase of over 53% for the period. Don Harrison and his IMW team have done an outstanding job kickstarting the new year." Asked about the strong start, IMW President, Don Harrison was quick to reference the team effort required for everything to come together. According to Harrison, "We have a seasoned team of professionals at IMW. We have slightly revamped our areas of responsibility and tightened up our geographical sales area. Sales are now not only the responsibility of full time sales representative, Paul Warren and sales consultant, Mike Crandall, but also Frank Briggs, IMW Vice President and Service Manager, and I spend time in the field generating sales. That is only possible because of the additional responsibilities assumed by our internal staff, Denise Tate and Susan Duncan taking up any slack. Of course, ultimately, the professionalism and competence of our labor force determines whether we will get the jobs in and out on time and bill the customer. In our absence that responsibility falls on twenty five year veteran shop foreman, Jimmy Coffman." Harrison continued, "This is just the beginning of what is expected to be a banner year. Time will tell, but I am confident that we have the right team in place to make it happen. Until the anticipated new manufacturing opportunities materialize, it is our job to make sure that we maximize our current opportunities."
