Tilting Capital Corp. Announces Appointment of New Director and Grant of Options

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Mar 6, 2014) - Tilting Capital Corp. (the "Corporation" or "Tilting Capital") (TSX-VENTURE:TLL.H) is pleased to announce that Jason Bednar has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Jason Bednar is a chartered accountant with considerable expertise in the financial and regulatory management of oil and gas companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV) and American Stock Exchange (AMEX). Mr. Bednar is a director of Canacol Energy Ltd. and Solimar Energy Limited. Mr. Bednar was formerly the CFO and a Director of MENA Hydrocarbons Inc., an international oil and gas company, CFO and Director of Sagres Energy Inc., an international oil and gas exploration company, former CFO of Pan Orient Energy Corp, a South East Asia Exploration company, former Chairman of Gallic Energy Ltd. Mr. Bednar began his career in the chartered accountancy firm of Brown Smith Owen in 1993 before moving into financial controller roles at oil production companies. Mr. Bednar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.

The Corporation also announces the grant of 384,000 stock options to directors and officers of the Corporation. The options will be granted at an exercise price of $0.10 per Common Share and, subject to the Option Plan, will expire five years from the date of grant. The Corporation has determined that exemptions from the various requirements of TSX Venture Exchange Policies are available for the granting of the options. Lastly, Mr. Jehad Haymour has resigned from the Board. The Corporation thanks Mr. Haymour for his contribution to the Corporation.
