Prominex Resource Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PXR) announces that Mr. Allan Innes has
tendered his resignation as CFO, Corporate Secretary and a director of the
Company due to other business commitments. We wish to thank Mr. Innes for his
guidance and dedication as CFO and Director over these past years and wish him
every success in his future endeavors.


Mr. Gordon MacNiel, director, Chairman of the Compensation Committee and member
of the Audit Committee has been appointed interim CFO and Corporate Secretary.
