Polar Star Issues Shares to Terence Walker

Polar Star Mining Corporation ("Polar Star" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PSR)
is pleased to announce the issuance of 250,000 common shares of the Company (the
"Shares") to Mr. Terence Walker M.Sc., P.Geo., the Company's Vice President,
Exploration. The issuance of the Shares to Mr. Walker is for services provided
to the Company pursuant to the terms of Mr. Walker's agreement with the Company
dated December 31, 2007.


The issuance of the Shares is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
