Potash North Update

Potash North Resource Corporation (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:PON) reports that
further to the press release dated August 22, 2008 announcing an agreement
between the Company and its investment banking syndicate to reverse a previous
issue of 800,000 units in the private placement that closed on July 9, 2008, the
investment banking syndicate has now agreed to honour the commitment to acquire
such units irrespective of where and how any administrative error may have been
made.


Therefore the gross proceeds of the unit offering will remain at $32,750,000
with 13,100,000 units being issued.


Potash North Resource Corporation is a Vancouver based company engaged in the
acquisition, exploration and potential development of two potash exploration
permits (KP 416 and 417) located north of and adjacent to the producing
Esterhazy Mine permits of Mosaic Corp. in southeastern Saskatchewan.
