Inc. ("Manitex" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the voting
results from its Annual General and Special Meeting of shareholders
(the "Meeting") held today in Kirkland,
Quebec. The total number of shares represented by
shareholders present in person and by proxy at the Meeting was
8,017,627 representing 63.83% of the Company's issued and
outstanding shares.
All the matters put forward before shareholders for
consideration and approval, as set out in the Company's Management
Information Circular dated February 28,
2019, were approved by 100% of the votes cast at the
Meeting, which matters included: (1) the election of Steve Saviuk, Helen
Saviuk, Ronald Perry and
Wynn Rimstad as directors of the
Company for the next year; (ii) the appointment of MNP LLP as
auditors of the Company until the next annual meeting; (iii) the
ratification, confirmation and approval of the sale by the Company
of shares of Valeo Pharma Inc. ("Valeo") and Ortho Regenerative
Technologies Inc. to certain officers of Valeo and to certain
officers and directors of the Company; and (iv) the ratification
confirmation and approval of the loans by the Company to certain
officers of Valeo and to certain officers and directors of the
Company. The related party transactions in (iii) and (iv) above are
further described in the Company's Management Information Circular
dated February 28, 2019 which can be
