CPVC Financial Corporation ("CPVC" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:LHB)
announces that the shareholders of CPVC approved the amalgamation (the
"Amalgamation") with 4506791 Canada Inc. ("CanadaCo"), with 98% of the shares
represented at the meeting voting in favour of the Amalgamation.


CPVC and CanadaCo are working to complete the final conditions to the closing of
the Amalgamation with a view to completing the Amalgamation by the end of this
week.
