CPVC Financial Corporation: News Release

(NOT FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA)

Mr. Alain Lambert of Montreal, Quebec ("Lambert"), the President, Chief
Executive Officer and a director of CPVC Financial Corporation ("CPVC Financial"
or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:LHB) announces he has acquired direct
ownership of 822,800 common shares of CPVC Financial ("Common Shares") and
indirect ownership of another 1,500,000 Common Shares through a private company
controlled by Mr. Lambert. Both acquisitions were made privately at a price of
$0.05 per share for an aggregate purchase price of $116,140 in cash. Mr. Lambert
now beneficially owns, controls or has direction over, directly or indirectly,
an aggregate of 20,300,617 Common Shares, representing 26.7% of the
Corporation's outstanding voting securities.


Mr. Lambert acquired the Common Shares for investment purposes and may,
depending on market and other conditions, increase or decrease his beneficial
ownership, control or direction over Common Shares, through market transactions,
private agreements, treasury issuances, exercise of convertible securities or
otherwise.
