MacDonald Appointed to Board of Directors

CRANBROOK, BC are pleased to announce the appointment of Neil MacDonald to the Board.

Tim Termuende, President and CEO of Copper Canyon, commented recently on the appointment, stating, "We are pleased to welcome Neil to the board. Mr. MacDonald brings with him a wealth of financial knowledge and experience, and will play an instrumental role in assisting the Company as we move forward to enhance the value of our significant asset in the Copper Canyon deposit adjacent Galore Creek."

Neil MacDonald brings to Copper Canyon over 17 years of experience in advising and financing early stage companies. Mr. MacDonald is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of NovaDx Ventures Corp, a Vancouver-based investment firm providing capital, investment banking and business advisory services to natural resource exploration companies. He also serves on the Boards of Sable Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SAE) and Goldquest Mining Corp. (TSX-V: GQC) Mr. MacDonald is the former Manager of Retail Corporate Finance with Blackmont Capital Inc. Prior to working with Blackmont he served as a corporate finance partner with Goepel McDermid, McDermid St. Lawrence Securities and Canaccord Capital. Mr. MacDonald serves on the local TSX Venture Exchange Advisory Committee as well as the IDA Pacific District Counsel.

Shareholders of Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. approved the plan to reorganize the Company's mineral property assets in an effort to maximize shareholder value.
