Cricket Resources Inc.: Appointment of a New Director

Cricket Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CKC) ("Cricket" or "the Company") announces
that Michael Dake has joined the Board of Directors, and has been appointed
President, Chief Executive Officer and Secretary. 


Mr. Dake has over 12 years of experience providing financing, investor relations
and corporate communication services to public companies. He began his career
with PhotoChannel Networks Ltd. in September, 1999. Since that time, Mr. Dake
has worked in the investor relations capacity for number of junior public
companies. Mr. Dake is currently a partner at Whaler Capital Corp. He completed
the Public Companies Financing, Governance and Compliance course from Simon
Fraser University in 2008. He also serves on the board of Shamrock Enterprises
Inc.


The Company also announces that, concurrently, Mr. Sonny Chew has stepped down
from the Board and wants to thank him for the services he rendered to the
Company.
