Transportation Group Inc. (TSXV: BUS; OTC PINK: GWTNF) –
October 23, 2017: ("Grande West" or
the "Company"), a Canadian bus manufacturer of multi-purpose
mid-sized transit vehicles for sale in Canada and the
United States, is pleased to announce that it has a new
order for Vicinity buses for a total of $1.6
million.
The order is for four (4) Vicinity buses from the County of
Simcoe, Ontario. The Company is
pleased to have another new customer from Ontario.
Grande West's total firm orders
for 2017/2018 delivery are for over three hundred fifty (354) buses
valued at over $131 million. This
current backlog includes pre-announced third quarter deliveries of
seventy five (75) buses for approximately $25 million in revenue and will be adjusted when
third quarter financials are officially reported.
Management also reports that Taras Kindzersky is no longer with
the Company. His duties are being filled by existing employees.
