Media Briefing: Bauer Hockey to Unveil New Helmet Technology

Bauer Hockey will unveil the new BAUER RE-AKT Helmet in Ottawa on Friday January 27. The revolutionary helmet is the culmination of more than two years of research, design and development utilizing the latest in biomechanical and medical research.

Both NHL goal-scoring leader Steven Stamkos and Philadelphia Flyers assistant captain Claude Giroux will join Bauer Hockey CEO & President Kevin Davis and Ken Covo, Bauer`s Sr. Director Research & Design, for the announcement. The BAUER RE-AKT helmet was developed using a unique patent-pending rotational impact protection system to protect the head from excessive rotational acceleration when the helmet is impacted.
