Company demos HTML5 UX and RDK Application Framework for
DVB set-top boxes

demonstrations at the IBC Show 2014, September 12-16 in Amsterdam (stand 5.A07). Espial will
demonstrate one of the industry's first DVB-based, HTML5 TV user
experiences for Reference Design Kit (RDK).

Application Framework and an advanced UX framework, the demo
leverages the latest open technologies with the Digital Video
Broadcasting (DVB) standard. By implementing DVB, a video standard
widely used by operators throughout Europe and many other parts of the world,
Espial is further extending RDK-based user experiences to the
global community. The Espial demo will feature several
next-generation user experience portals, super-fast core video and
custom sports apps, and access to favorite HTML5 Web apps such as
YouTube.
