NEW YORK, Nov. 10, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Ingersoll-Rand plc
(NYSE: IR) will replace Pactiv Corp. (NYSE: PTV) in the S&P 500
index after the close of trading on Tuesday,
November 16. Pactiv is being acquired by Reynolds
Group Holding Ltd. in a deal expected to close on or about that
date, pending final approvals.
