KBR to get $435M in settlement of Pemex dispute

KBR (KBR +4.7%) says it will receive $435M to settle a decade-long dispute with Mexico's Pemex over payment for work in the Bay of Campeche related to the EPC 1 offshore platform construction project.

In 2009, KBR received an International Chamber of Commerce arbitration award covering the costs and fees it was owed for its work for Pemex.

Problem is these knuckle-heads don't have any contracts for A-Stan. Unless a new war breaks out and they win some contracts their stock is only going down. I'll admit they have their stateside and Canada deals, but a big boom like a War with Iran and them winning a few billion in a contract that's where the money is. Best to stay away from this one until something new unfolds. imo
