Centex Declares Quarterly Dividend DALLAS, May 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Centex Corporation (NYSE:CTX) has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 4 cents per share on the common stock of the company payable on July 7, 2004 to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 9, 2004. Centex effectively doubled its annual dividend following the company's 2-for-1 stock split in March, as the regular cash dividend remained at four cents per share per quarter, or 16 cents per share per year, on twice the number of shares.
