Centex Corporation Names Vice President, Treasurer DALLAS, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Centex Corporation announced today that Gail M. Peck has been named vice president and treasurer. She is responsible for the issuance of Centex Corporation's public and private unsecured debt and credit facilities, which includes management of Centex's commercial paper program and syndicated bank facilities, the issuance of long- term debt and medium-term notes, as well as managing Centex's cash and liquidity. Her responsibilities also include the maintenance of the company's asset/liability and interest rate risk position, as well as modeling Centex's capital needs. Ms. Peck succeeds Vicki Roberts, who recently retired from the company after 25 years. Ms. Peck joined Centex in 2001 as managing director, corporate finance. She began her career in 1989 at Bank of Boston in Boston, Mass. as a banking associate and later served as assistant vice president - large corporate lending. In 1996, she joined American Airlines in Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Peck held a variety of finance positions at American, including principal - corporate finance and director of investor relations. Ms. Peck holds a B.A. in economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School.
