safer for families to handle their transportation needs. Through
Mother's Day weekend (May 8-11 2014), Care.com will be sponsoring
surcharge-free rides and helping to promote awareness of child car
safety through uberFAMILY, a new service from Uber that allows
New York City parents to request a
car equipped with a car seat.

will cover the $10 surcharge per ride
and the first 1,000 New York City
families to take advantage of uberFAMILY will also receive care
packages in each car, including a 20% discount to try out Care.com
to find quality full-time and part-time babysitters, nannies and
other caregivers for their family.
