Intel Chairman Craig Barrett to Announce Top Honors for America's
Oldest, Most Prestigious Science Competition The top 10 winners of
the Intel Science Talent Search, a program of Society for Science
& the Public (SSP), will be announced at a gala awards ceremony
on Tuesday, March 10th in Washington, D.C. The finalists are
competing for more than a half million dollars in scholarships from
the Intel Foundation, and the grand prize winner will take home
$100,000. They will be announced by Intel Chairman Craig Barrett.
The awards gala concludes the 2009 season of the nation's oldest
and most prestigious science competition. Science Talent Search
finalists have gone on to win seven Nobel Prizes, a Fields Medal,
the National Medal of Science and a MacArthur Foundation
