Sharper Image Corporation (NASDAQ:SHRP) today reported sales for the month of March, 2007. March Sales For the month ended March 31, 2007, total Company sales were $22.1 million compared to $40.0 million in the previous year, a decrease of 45 percent. Total store sales were $15.3 million compared to $21.7 million in the prior March, a decrease of 29 percent. Comparable store sales in March decreased 29 percent. Total catalog sales/direct marketing sales (including wholesale) were $3.4 million compared to last March�s $11.8 million, a decrease of 71 percent. Internet sales were $3.4 million compared to last March�s $6.6 million, a decrease of 48 percent. Fiscal Year-to-Date Sales For the two months ended March 31, 2007, total Company sales were $44.2 million compared to $70.9 million in the previous year, a decrease of 38 percent. Total store sales were $29.7 million compared to $40.5 million in the prior year, a decrease of 27 percent. Comparable store sales for the two month period decreased 28 percent. Total catalog sales/direct marketing sales (including wholesale) for the two month period were $7.7 million compared to $18.6 million, a decrease of 59 percent. Internet sales for the two month period were $6.8 million compared to $11.9 million, a decrease of 43 percent.
