Organizations that deploy Whitewater cloud storage appliances can now choose Savvis Symphony Cloud Storage as a cloud storage location for important backup data sets. The addition of Savvis Symphony Cloud Storage to the growing Whitewater ecosystem extends Riverbed's ability to give organizations unparalleled choice and flexibility when modernizing their data protection infrastructure to replace tape-based technology with fast, secure, and cost-efficient cloud storage.

Purpose-built for fast backup and restore, Whitewater cloud storage appliances deduplicate, compress, and encrypt data to reduce storage costs in the cloud.
