Shares of Qorvo Inc (NASDAQ:QRVO) fell around 10% in U.S. premarket trading on Wednesday after the radio-frequency chipmaker issued softer-than-expected guidance for the current quarter, citing weaker seasonal demand from its largest customer, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL).Qorvo, which is in the process of being acquired by larger rival Skyworks Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:SWKS), supplies radio-frequency components such as filters and switches used in smartphones. Its technology is also deployed across a broad range of end markets, including automotive, power management, defense and aerospace.For its fiscal third quarter, Qorvo reported earnings of $2.17 per share, beating analysts’ expectations by 31 cents. Revenue reached $993 million, slightly ahead of Wall Street forecasts of $988.69 million.However, the company’s forward guidance disappointed investors. For the current quarter, Qorvo expects earnings of between $1.05 and $1.35 per share on revenue of $775.00 million to $825.00 million. Analysts had been looking for profit of $1.37 per share on revenue of $903.80 million.“Our March quarterly outlook reflects the seasonal decline at our largest customer,” Qorvo CEO Bob Bruggeworth said in a statement, referring to Apple, which generates nearly half of the company’s total revenue. Bruggeworth also pointed to “the ongoing strategic resizing of our Android business, and continued strength in high performance analog business, which focuses on providing radio frequency solutions.”Qorvo and Skyworks unveiled plans for their merger in October 2025, agreeing to combine in a $22 billion cash-and-stock transaction. The deal is expected to close early next year.Commenting on the tie-up, Morgan Stanley analysts said “[p]art of the rationale for the deal is that it would help stabilize content in between cycles,” but cautioned that this “could be challenging if both companies are struggling to hold share against competitors.”“That being said, enhanced scale and pooled R&D capabilities should help strengthen their competitiveness and increase their leverage with Apple in future cycles,” the analysts added.Qorvo stock priceApple stock priceSkyworks Solutions stock price

Huge gap in chart to fill between $80 and $90... with AAPL coming out and downgrading this quarter had a big impact on QORVO. I think it’s gonna fill that gap! IMHO. Look for position in the low $80s a share and then let it rip.

QRVO is up $3+/3% today. Still great entry price at the low $116 price.

$qrvo Selling could be coming to a end, volume decline today

The volume profile in Qrvo is very ugly, massive sell candles with over 100% extra volume each day for the last week,but can we it as capitulation and a sign to step back in to the long side. Given the exposure that NASDAQ:QRVO has to China it is a risky move. We see the $54 area been tested once again, on confirmation of it holding then it is a good time to get a reversal trade. The RSI is very low at 22 but it can go much lower as the NASDAQ:SOX could possible drop below the 200ma, bringing more selling.

Bullish, but high China exposure. Takeover target

Until yesterday we were very bullish on Qrvo but considering the exposure it has to China our optimism has wavered. Despite that we stick to our guns on this lesser know name, which has a relatively low $8 Billion market cap in comparison to others in the Chip Sector. Qrvo has a great deal of exposure in the 5G rollout which makes it a ideal takeover target for the bigger names which lack such exposure to the future of communications. Given that is has a very diverse range of revenue streams we think that it is less prone to cycle declines than more specialized companies, making it even more appealing.

Let's see...I bought about 1500/Sh of RFMD at about $5.00/share. Then the merge, then the Reverse Split, and about $25,000 later, life in "QORVO Land" is good. Bigger things to come! 5 G, Internet of things, Defense, Smart Cars,etc..LONG!

Got news that QRVO laid off all its temporary employees over +100 employees. Does not look good for this company. Dont think they got a slot with Apple on the new phone coming out in October.

I am a big long on SWKS and really like what I see here. Also, a little pricey, but AVGO is another great long term play.

Problem is that we can't really trust SA, can we?

I do believe that this stock will reach much higher once people realize who they really are, from some comments I have heard, even from Cramer, they still talk about TNQT and RFMD as if still 2 separate entities. They do not see the potential of these 2 together.

Cushsix, I am like you, I bought RFMD at $5.50 and got tempted to sell many, many times but still holding on to all my shares, getting closer to a 300% return and now convinced that it will get there. But even when it will get there, I am still undecided on what I will do.

I can see how that would happen. I also bought big in those 4-5 days of rfmd (20k). Several times I almost pressed the sell button. They kept giving me new confidence with each earnings, and at the announced merger with tqnt I resisted. I watched as it doubled with the merger and said to myself this is at my ideal sell price (10). But no. Again I almost sold in the pullback from 14 to 11 thinking this is played out . Why I didn't I can't tell you. So after the rs I have 5k After earnings came out OK ($77 new price) but I realized that doesn't reflect the merger at all. So I held. Now I'm looking at 100 and shaking.

It's not obvious is it? The chart above clearly show stock manipulation after hours. The tug of war between the Bulls and the Bears.Talk about greed.That's okay Bulls, just see to it that you stay long for the long haul.

No it's not. But it will get there.

This stock has so much going for it that it's pathetic. Nobody has what they have IMO. The synergy is excellent. Timing is perfect. Stock manipulation will occur, but I'm a Long long time holder.

It should be already if it wasn't for the mood swings of this stock, I can't believe that this could go down or up by $1.50 in 10 minutes without being manipulated.
